At Aristocrat, diversity and inclusion are about creating an environment where people feel connected, supported and able to contribute fully. One of the ways this comes to life across our global workforce is through Employee Impact Groups (EIGs).
Employee Impact Groups are voluntary, employee led communities that support inclusion, engagement and belonging, aligned with Aristocrat’s values and business goals.
What are Employee Impact Groups?
Employee Impact Groups—often known in other organisations as Employee Resource Groups—are communities formed around shared experiences or identities that have historically been under represented in the workplace.
At Aristocrat, EIGs are created and led by employees, with participation open to both members and allies. Together, these groups create space for connection, learning and shared understanding across teams, roles and regions.
Building inclusion through participation
The purpose of EIGs is to support employee participation in diversity and inclusion and to deepen understanding of the experiences, needs and perspectives of different communities within Aristocrat.
Through a range of activities, EIGs help:
- foster connection and community
- create opportunities for learning and dialogue
- celebrate diverse experiences and cultures
- support allyship and shared responsibility
By encouraging participation from across the business, EIGs help inclusion show up in everyday interactions, not just initiatives or events.
A global framework with local impact
Employee Impact Groups at Aristocrat form part of a broader diversity and inclusion framework that supports consistency while allowing for regional relevance.
Globally, EIGs are organised around four focus areas:
- Gender equality
- Race and ethnicity
- LGBTQ+ inclusion
- Allyship
Local chapters of each EIG can be formed across regions, allowing teams to reflect local contexts while remaining connected to a shared global approach.
Inclusion beyond events
EIGs play an important role not only during moments like Aristocrat Together, but throughout the year. They help sustain conversations, build networks and create opportunities for learning that extend beyond a single event or campaign.
By empowering employees to lead and participate, EIGs contribute to a culture where inclusion is shaped by collective effort and everyday actions.
Continuing to grow together
As Aristocrat continues to grow globally, Employee Impact Groups remain an important way our people help shape an inclusive culture from within.
Through connection, education and shared purpose, EIGs support a workplace where belonging is built together—and where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
