Principal Software Engineer

You will be joining the Technology Group that is responsible for a cutting-edge technology for our gaming platforms, Game Development Kits and Tools that are used in Casinos around the world.

The team is responsible for devising innovative solutions to support the imaginations of the greatest game creators in the industry. As a Principal Software Engineer, you will craft complex componentized systems that help game developers quickly prototype their games. You will also support iterative development and ensure the GDK stays in sync with all jurisdiction requirements.

Job Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of Unity
• Build scalable, clean, and modular client-side architectures applying patterns like Dependency Injection (DI), State Machines, and Event Systems
• Architect workflows for dynamic data delivery using Unity Addressees and Asset Bundles to improve runtime loading efficiencies.
• Deep, exhaustive knowledge of the Unity Engine & Editor scripting APIs, memory management, and rendering pipelines.
• Lead all aspects of automation integrations including Editor tooling, automated testing pipelines, and CI/CD development build processes.
• Expert Knowledge of scripting, animation, session management, and textures.
• Experience with memory and space optimization.
• C++ experience.
• Good written and verbal communication
• Deep sense of owning your work and prioritizing business and team goals ahead of your self interest
• Help team to unblock from any critical problem
• Provide coaching, training and mentor game developers.
• Work closely with managers locally and globally in planning and execution by presenting complexity and time estimates.
• Peer code review.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
• 10+ years proven experience in C#
• 10+ years of experience in Unity
• Deep, extensive knowledge of the Unity Engine & Editor scripting APIs, memory management, and rendering pipelines.
• 5+ years C++
• Experience working with modern software development processes.
• Ability to write clear, maintainable and portable code.
